Experience:  took an ASA 101 about 4yrs ago.  I joined two sailing meet-up groups after arriving in Seattle in 2014.  I’ve been out on cruising events slightly more than a handful of times and did my first Duck Dodge this year.  I have gloves and will likely be getting a PFD soon.  I really enjoy the cruising in this lovely summer weather, but I’m interested in racing so I can learn.
