Hosted by Seattle J/24 Fleet 26 and the Corinthian Yacht Club of Seattle, the J/24 2006 District 19 Championship will be held on Lake Washington off Leschi between the I-90 and SR 520 bridges. Thirty plus boats are expected to attend this event at a venue renowned for its true test of sailing skill. With no current or reliable geographical wind shifts that often favor one side of a race course, Lake Washington challenges your observational, tactical and strategic sailing skills. On this level playing field, with no reliably favored side, there is always an opportunity to recover and work ones way back from a poor start or blown maneuver. Come and test yourself against some of the best J/24 sailors in the world! This is also the third and final event in the 2006 Pacific Northwest Championship Series and the title is up for grabs. Mark the calendar, pack your bags, load your boat on your trailer and head to Seattle. If your boat is already on Lake Washington, or you are out on Puget Sound, just show up Saturday morning and sail! Your entry fee of $100 gets you:
